Diane Reynolds joined the Math Solutions Professional Development team after serving 29 years in public education in North Texas. Diane’s passion for mathematics and student learning has driven her to be a lifelong learner and to practice that learning. Commitment to improving quality math instruction is a priority and she believes that occurs best through customized professional learning designed to meet the needs of students and staff. She works with districts to design and deliver professional development for district-level administrators, school-based math leadership teams, Math Coaches, and teachers across the country.Diane earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with a Kindergarten endorsement, from North Texas State University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Supervisor Certification, from East Texas State University. She has also completed post graduate work in the field of gifted & talented education. With 23 years of experience in Mesquite ISD, Diane was awarded the district’s Apple Corps Award recognizing outstanding classroom teachers. She taught a variety of grades K–6, as well as other experiences and positions including GT Facilitator, Math Facilitator, and mentoring student teachers. Diane’s greatest award to date is that she will become a grandmother for the first time in June 2013.
