Le’Vada Gray joined Math Solutions in 2010 and is a Professional Development Consultant on the professional development team. In her role, she designs and provides professional development in K–8th grades, site-based coaching, and e-coaching to classroom teachers, district-level administrators, and school-based math leadership teams across the country. Le’Vada has facilitated courses for middle school teachers in the Northside Independent School District of San Antonio, TX, Toledo, OH; and Canton/Woodstock, GA since joining the organization. She brings six years of elementary school teaching experience and one year as a school site administrator in public and charter schools in Los Angeles.In conjunction with her classroom teaching, Le’Vada worked as a professional development provider and site-based coach for the Center for Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning (CCRTL). She designed and facilitated professional development in culturally responsive pedagogy in mathematics for school districts in Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, CA; St. Louis, MO; and Asbury Park, NJ, to name a few.
Le’Vada holds both California administrative and teaching credentials after completing additional coursework in educational administration at National University in Los Angeles and elementary education at Mills College in Oakland. She received her bachelor of science in journalism at Northwestern University.
